I know
How you spend your time
Craving the possessions of others
You teach them
Your new idea of faith
Then pull the rug
Right from under their bleeding feet
Oh what a shame you are
Are the gates if heaven closed
For the ones who never knew?
Not innocent like infants
Never knowing what to do because
We're all just frozen in time
Knowing that we must choose
We are all just
frozen
I know where you go to hide
When your a disappointment to your brothers
Preach to them all the things you hate
Every word that you speak
Is just a lie pushed through those teeth
Are the gates if heaven closed
For the ones who never knew?
Not innocent like infants
Never knowing what to do because
We're all just frozen in this
time capsule of memories
The directory of
"things unseen"
is the priority to eternity
Pull the thread and it unravels
Coil it up and it will fade away
Watch the smoke form
into heart shapes
Thought that you made
such a great choice
But you just made such great mistakes
Now all your truest love feels fake
You've clogged your hearts intake
You've slept with another one
Now just shut up and bite your tongue
Are the gates of heaven closed
For the ones who never knew?
They might look just like you
But they do not know of what they do
Always thought this was an interesting spin off from hail the sun and this album plus the self title is some good shit! I met Donovan Melero in person and while I think the popularity has gone to his head, the drummer and base are cool guys! Neo
The beginning riff set you up for a journey some people aren't ready for. This album is a masterpiece, I accidentally bought it twice but I'd buy it a third time ameier
